TEST MODE

Remove the Control Panel from the box.
Find a location for your Control Panel and plug it into an outlet.
Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to power up the Panel. It's located on the right hand side.
Connect to your Wi-Fi.
- Press the gray bar and slide down.
- Press "Settings".
- Press "Advanced Settings".
- Enter the default code "1234".
- Press "Wi-Fi".
- Press the empty checkmark to search for your home's Wi-Fi.
- Select your home's Wi-Fi network.
- Enter the password for your network and press "Connect".
- Wait until the listed network shows "Connected". Stay on this screen and continue to the next step.
Perform a signal test.
- Press back arrow once (if you accidentally clicked it twice, go to advanced settings and go to the next step).
- Press "System Tests".
- Press "Dual-Path Test".
- Press "Start".
- When you see the message "Wi-Fi communication path tested successfully” your test is complete and you have finished setting up your panel.
  
  If you do not get this message, try the test again. If the second test fails that means the signal at your panel's location is too weak or unavailable. Move your panel to another spot and try again.
- Proceed to the next step.

Install door sensor (87 sec)

Check the label on the outside of the box to see where it should be placed.
The box will have two pieces - the sensor and the magnet. The sensor is the larger piece and will go on the frame. The magnet is the smaller one and will go on the door.
Identify the location on the door where you'll place the sensor.

The location of the sensor must be on the inside of your home.

Make sure the location is on the doorknob’s side.

Place at a height that will be out of reach of children and pets.
Clean and dry the location on the door and framing with a damp cloth or a paper towel.
Remove the backing of the tape from the sensor and magnet.
Place the sensor on the frame and the magnet on the inside of the door. Apply pressure for 10 seconds until the pieces are secure.

Make sure the arrows on the magnet and sensor are facing each other.

The sensor and magnet must be no more than a pencil width apart.
Open and close the door to make sure the pieces stay in place.
Finally, if your panel says "Your door is open" as you open the door, you've installed your door sensor correctly.

Install window sensor (87 sec)

Check the label on the outside of the box to see where it should be placed.
The box will have two pieces - the sensor and the magnet. The sensor is the larger piece and will go on the frame. The magnet is the smaller one and will go on the window.
Identify the location on the window where you'll place the sensor.
Clean and dry the location on the window with a damp cloth or paper towel.
Remove the backing of the tape from the contact and magnet.
Place the sensor on the frame and the magnet on the window. Apply pressure for 10 seconds until the pieces are secure.

The sensor and magnet must be no more than a pencil width apart.

Make sure the arrows on the sensor and magnet are facing each other.

Make sure the pieces are aligned. Do not center them.
Open and close the window to make sure the pieces stay in place.
Finally, if your panel says "Your window is open" as you open the window, you've installed your window sensor correctly.

Install motion detector (72 sec)

Check the label on the outside of the box to see where it should be placed.
Find a corner in the room where you'll place the sensor. It must be 7-8 feet from the floor to work correctly.

The sensor will cover 30 feet of area.

Avoid windows, fireplaces, air conditioners, area heaters, direct sunlight, and large windows where animals may come near when placing the sensor. These will cause the alarm to sound.
Make sure the wall is clean and dry before placing the sensor.
Remove the backing of the double-sided tape on your motion detector.
Place the motion detector on your wall. Apply pressure for 10 seconds until the piece is secure.
Once the motion detector has been securely placed you have completed the installation.
